Student Development and Enrollment Services (SDES) "Retention Briefings" highlight departmental best practices that promote student retention, graduation, and success. These diverse briefings showcase the outstanding work of SDES departments to create inclusive environments that support all UCF students, provide data that demonstrates the division's impact on student persistence, and highlight divisional efforts to promote student retention.

The Division of Student Development and Enrollment Services (SDES) was created May 1998 when Student Affairs and Enrollment and Academic Services merged. In July 1998, the UKnighted Newsletter was established as a vehicle of communication to all employees of SDES. The following UKnighted Newsletters are monthly publications that highlight various activities and items of interest within the SDES division. May 2009 was the last monthly UKnighted newsletter and the UKnighted will now only be printed semesterly. Current SDES news articles are now placed continually on the SDES Web site.

A yearly report covering various aspects of the division, including statistics on student success, academic advising and learning support, student engagement, community service, health and wellness, and support services. The report also covers each of the SDES goals and the progress therein.
